Toaster Oven Cookies :: Bar Cookies

Charleston Chews

1 box light brown sugar
1/2 C. (1 stick) butter, melted
2 eggs
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 C. self-rising flour
1 1/2 C. chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and lightly flour a 13 x 9-in. baking pan.

Stir together sugar, butter, eggs and vanilla extract or flavoring. Combine with flour and pecans, mixing with a spoon. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 35 min. Cool and cut into squares.
