Chocolate Walnut Pie Bars
Crust
1 1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/4 C. packed brown sugar
Filling
3 lrg. eggs
3/4 C. light corn syrup
3/4 C. sugar
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 C. (12 oz.) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 1/2 C. coarsely chopped walnuts
Crust: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 13 x 9-in. baking pan.
Beat flour, butter and brown sugar in sm. mixer bowl until crumbly. Press onto bottom of prepared baking pan. Bake for 12 to 15 min. or until lightly browned.
Filling: Beat eggs, corn syrup, sugar, butter and vanilla extract or flavoring in lrg. mixer bowl. Stir in morsels and nuts; pour over hot crust. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 to 30 min. or until set.
Cool completely in pan on wire rack.
