Recipe For Cooking Cinnamon Bars

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Bar Cookies

Cinnamon Bars

2 tubes crescent rolls
8 oz. cream cheese
1 C. sugar
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1/2 C. (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
1/2 C. sugar mixed with 2 tea. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Unroll one tube of the crescent rolls in 13 x 9-in. pan. Pin. seams together.

Mix cream cheese, the 1 C. sugar, and vanilla extract or flavoring; spread over crescent rolls. Unroll second tube of crescent rolls onto wax paper. Pin. seams together. Pick up wax paper to drop the top layer of crescent rolls over the cream cheese mixture. Spread softened butter or margarine over top and sprinkle the sugar and cinnamon over the butter. Bake for 25 min.
