Recipe For Cooking Stroganoff Deep Dish Pie

Stroganoff Deep Dish Pie

1 lb. ground beef
1/2 C. chopped onion
1/2 C. sour cream
1/4 C. ketchup
2 eggs
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms, drained
2 C. biscuit baking mix
1/2 C. cold water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9 x 13-in. baking pan.

Cook and stir ground beef and onion until beef is brown; drain.

Mix sour cream, ketchup, eggs and soup until well blended. Stir in beef mixture and mushrooms.

Mix biscuit baking mix and water until soft dough forms; beat vigorously 20 strokes. Press dough in bottom and 1 in. up sides of pan with fingers floured with baking mix. Spread beef mixture over dough. Bake until crust is light brown and beef mixture is set, about 25 to 30 min. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Serves 6.
