Recipe For Cooking Chewy Honey Brownies

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Blondies and Brownies


Chewy Honey Brownies

1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
1/2 C. sugar
1/3 C. honey
2 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 eggs
1/2 C. flour
1/3 C. Hershey’s Cocoa
1/2 tea. salt
2/3 C. raisins or chopped nuts
Honey Frosting
Walnut or pecan halves

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 9-in. square baking pan.

In sm. mixer bowl, beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy; blend in honey and vanilla extract or flavoring. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.

In separate bowl, stir together flour, cocoa and salt; gradually add to butter mixture. Fold in raisins; pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 25 to 30 min. or until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan. Cool completely. Frost with Honey Frosting. Cut into squares. Garnish with nut halves.

Honey Frosting
3 Tbsp. butter, softened
3 Tbsp. Hershey\s Cocoa
1 C. powderedsugar
3/4 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 Tbsp. milk
1 Tbsp. honey

In sm. mixer bowl, beat butter and cocoa; stir in vanilla extract or flavoring and powderedsugar. Blend in milk and honey; beat to spreading consistency.
