Recipe For Cooking Double Chocolate Brownies

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Blondies and Brownies


Double Chocolate Brownies

6 oz. chocolate chips (1 C.)
3/4 C. flour
1/4 tea. baking soda
1/4 tea. salt
5 1/2 Tbsp. butter
3/4 C. sugar
2 Tbsp. water
1 C. chocolate chips
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2 eggs
3/4 C. chopped pecans or walnuts
Powderedsugar

Freeze 1 C. chocolate chips for 1 hour.

In sm. bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In saucepan, bring butter, sugar and water to a boil. Immediately remove from heat. Add the UNFROZEN 1 C. chocolate chips and vanilla extract, stirring until chips are melted and mixture is smooth. Transfer mixture to lrg. bowl. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in nuts and frozen chocolate chips. Spread into a greased 9-in. square baking pan. Bake at 325 degrees F for 30 to 35 min. Cool completely. Cut into squares. Sprinkle with powderedsugar.
