Banana Fudge Cookies

1 (18 1/2 oz.) box chocolate cake mix
1/3 C. mashed bananas, ripe
1 egg
2 Tbsp. water
6 oz. semisweet chocolate pieces

Combine cake mix, bananas, egg, and water in a bowl. Beat with electric mixer at med. speed until smooth. Stir in chocolate pieces. Drop by rounded tea.ful, about 2 in. apart, on prepared cookie sheets. Bake in a 350 degree F oven for 8 min. or until done. Remove from cookie sheets; cool on racks.

Makes approximately 3 1/2 dozen.
