Quick Chocolate Softies

1 pkg. devil\s food cake mix
1/3 C. water
1/4 C. butter, softened
1 egg
1 C. white chocolate baking chips
1/2 C. coarsely chopped walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease cookie sheets or line with parchment paper.

On low speed combine cake mix, water, butter and egg just till moistened. Beat 1 min. on med. speed. Dough will be thick. Stir in chips and nuts.

Drop heaping tea.ful onto greased cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 min. Cool 1 min. then remove to rack to cool completely.

Makes 4 dozen cookies.
