Peanut Butter C. C.cakes

Makes 24 C.cakes.

1 3/4 C. flour
1 1/4 C. firmly packed brown sugar
3 tea. baking powder
1 tea. salt
1 C. milk
1/3 C. vegetable shortening
1/3 C. peanut butter
1 tea. pure vanilla extract
2 lrg. eggs
24 miniature milk chocolate-covered peanut butter C. candies

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Line 24 muffin C. with paper baking C..

In lrg. bowl, combine all ingredients except peanut butter C. candies at low speed until moistened; beat 2 min. at med. speed. Fill prepared muffin C. 2/3 full. Press a peanut butter C. candy into batter until top edge is even with batter.

Bake 18 to 28 min. at 350 degrees F or until C.cakes spring back when touched lightly.
