Recipe For Cooking Chocolate Crinkle Cups

Chocolate Crinkle C.6 Tbsp. butter or margarine 1 C. sugar 1/2 C. cocoa 1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring 2 egg whites, slightly beaten 1/2 C. flour 1/4 C. finely chopped walnuts Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line sm. muffin C. (1 3/4 in. in diameter) with paper or foil baking C. In med. saucepan over low heat, melt butter. Add sugar, stir until well blended. Remove from heat; stir in cocoa and vanilla extract or flavoring; add egg whites; stir to blend. Stir in flour and walnuts. Fill muffin C. three-fourths full with batter. Bake for 15 min. or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes approximately 22.
