Recipe For Cooking Chocolate Heaven Cookies

Toaster Oven Cookies :: Drop Cookies

Chocolate Heaven Cookies

4 1/2 C. flour
2 tea. baking soda
1 tea. salt
2 C. (4 sticks) butter or margarine
1 1/4 C. sugar
1 3/4 C. brown sugar
2 or 3 (1.55 oz) Hershey bars, grated (chocolate bars)
3 eggs
5 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 (12 oz.) pkg. semisweet chocolate chips
1 (10 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips
1 C. nuts, chopped (optional)

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Stir together flour, baking soda and salt.

In lrg. bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract or flavoring. Add eggs and beat until well mixed. Gradually add flour, mixing well between additions. Stir in chocolate and peanut butter chips and nuts, if desired. Drop by heaping tea.ful onto unprepared cookie sheets. Bake for 7 to 9 min. or until very lightly browned. Cool slightly and move to wire rack to cool completely.

Makes approximately 7 dozen good-size cookies.
