1 C. vegetable shortening
1 C. sugar
1 C. light brown sugar, packed
2 lrg. eggs
2 C. flour
1 tea. baking soda
1 tea. baking powder
1 tea. salt
1 C. oats
1 C. flaked coconut
1 C. Rice Krispies
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1 C. chopped pecans, toasted

Cream the vegetable shortening, sugars and eggs together until light and fluffy.

In a separate bowl, mix all of the dry ingredients. Gradually add the dry ingredient mix to the creamed vegetable shortening and sugar mixture. Drop Tbsp.-size spoonsful of dough onto unprepared cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F just until browned.
