Coconut Pecan Macaroons

2 egg whites
Dash salt
1/2 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
2/3 C. sugar
1 1/3 C. flaked coconut
1/2 C. chopped pecans

On high speed of mixer, beat egg whites with salt and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gradually beat in sugar; continue beating until stiff peaks form. Fold in coconut and pecans. Drop by rounded tea.ful onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake in a 325 degree F oven about 20 min., or until light golden.

Makes approximately: About 1 1/2 dozen cookies.
