Pork Chop Casserole6 lrg. pork chops 6 potatoes, sliced 3 med. onions, sliced 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1/4 C. water Salt and pepper 1 green bell pepper, sliced Brown pork chops. Place alternating layers of pork chops, potatoes and onions in a baking dish. Season. After first layer of pork chops, potatoes and onions is in place, pour half the soup over the top. Layer again. Season. Pour the remaining soup over, then pour water over the top. Season. Bake, covered, for 1 to 1 1/2 hr. at 350 degrees F. Alternate method: Layer the same way in a crockpot. Cook on low heat for 6 to 8 hr. or on high heat for 3 1/2 hr..
