Sausage Hash Brown Bake

2 lb. pork sausage
2 C. (8 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
1 (8 oz.) carton French onion dip
1 C. chopped onion
1/4 C. chopped green bell pepper
1/4 C. chopped red bell pepper
1/8 tea. pepper
1 (30 oz.) pkg. frozen shredded hash
    brown potatoes, thawed

In a lrg. skillet, cook sausage. Drain well.

In a lrg. bowl, combine 1 C. cheese and the next 7 ingredients. Fold in potatoes. Spread half into a prepared shallow 3 qt. baking dish. Top with sausage and remaining potato mixture. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Cover and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 min. Uncover and bake 10 min. longer or until heated through.

Serves 10.
