Cloud Biscuits

These are very light and delicious.

2 C. sifted flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
4 tea. baking powder
1/2 C. vegetable shortening
1 beaten egg
2/3 C. milk

Sift dry ingredients and cut in vegetable shortening. Combine egg and milk with a fork. Add to first mixture. Bake at 450 degrees F for 10 to 14 min.
