Recipe For Cooking Rolling In Dough Biscuits

"Rolling in Dough" Biscuits

3 C. flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 tea. baking soda
1 tea. salt
1/4 C. butter or margarine
1 (16 oz.) carton sour cream
3 C. (12 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
2 jalapeƱo peppers, seeded and diced

Combine first 4 ingredients in a lrg. bowl; cut in butter with a pastry blender until mixture is crumbly. Add sour cream, Cheddar cheese and peppers, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a floured surface, and knead 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut with a 4-in. round cutter. Place on a lightly prepared cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 min.

Makes approximately 1 dozen.
