Recipe For Cooking Velvet Cream Biscuits

Velvet Cream Biscuits4 C. flour 2 Tbsp. baking powder 1 tea. salt 2 Tbsp. sugar 2 1/2 C. whipped cream 1/4 C. butter or margarine, melted Combine first 4 ingredients; add whipped cream, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a well-floured surface, and knead 10 to 12 times. Roll dough to 1/2-in. thickness. Cut with a 2-in. biscuit butter. Place on lightly prepared cookie sheets; brush with melted butter. Bake at 425 degrees F for 12 to 14 min. Makes approximately 2 1/2 dozen.
