Hawaiian Sweet Bread

1 C. warm water
5 Tbsp. sugar
3 C. flour
3/4 tea. salt
2 Tbsp. powdered milk
2 Tbsp. instant potato flakes
3 tea. yeast
1/4 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring
1/4 tea. lemon extract or flavoring
2 eggs
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Measure ingredients into the bread machine in the order suggested by the machine\s manufacturer. Set machine for dough.

Place dough in a 9- x 5-in. loaf pan. Bake for 30 min. Crust should be golden and bread should sound hollow when thumped.

This recipe yields a 2 lb. loaf.

Comments: Flavorful, light sweet bread that is great by itself, or for French toast and summer sandwiches.
