Cranberry Cheesecake Muffins

3 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 C. sugar, divided
1 C. milk
1/3 C. oil
1 egg
1 (15.6 oz.) pkg. cranberry quick bread mix

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease 12 muffin C.

Beat cream cheese and 2 Tbsp. sugar in sm. bowl until well blended. Combine milk, oil and egg in lrg. bowl and beat with fork until blended. Stir in quick bread mix just until moistened.

Fill muffin C. 1/4 full with batter. Drop 1 tea. cheese mixture into center of each C. Spoon remaining batter over cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle batter with remaining 2 Tbsp. sugar. Bake for 17 to 22 min. or until golden brown. Cool 5 min. Remove from muffin C. to wire rack to cool.
