Nut Loaf

1 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 C. sugar
1 tea. baking powder
1 tea. salt
1 (15 to 18 oz.) bottle maraschino cherries, drained
2 lb. dates
2 lb. walnuts
1 lb. Brazil nuts
5 lrg. eggs
1 tea. vanilla extract or flavoring

Sift dry ingredients together. Add fruit and nuts. Mix well until well coated with flour. Beat eggs and stir in vanilla extract or flavoring. Mix into flour and nut mixture. Spoon into 3 prepared bread pans and bake at 325 degrees F for one hr..
