Recipe For Cooking Cheddar Parmesan Potatoes

Cheddar Parmesan Potatoes1/4 C. butter or margarine 1/4 C. flour 2 C. milk 1/2 tea. salt 1 C. shredded Cheddar cheese 1/2 C. Parmesan cheese 5 C. sliced, cooked and peeled potatoes 1/4 C. bread crumbs In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Gradually add milk; cook and stir over med. heat until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and add salt and cheeses. Stir until Cheddar cheese melts. Place potatoes in a prepared 2-qt. baking dish and add cheese mixture, stirring gently to mix. Sprinkle bread crumbs on top. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees F for 30 to 35 min. Makes approximately 6 to 8 servings.
